Job and Research Experiences

[Jan 2024 - Oct 2024] Research Intern @ Nvidia Research

  • Worked on developing an efficient 3D generative framework on various representations.

[Jun 2023 - Dec 2023] AI Research Intern @ Autodesk AI Lab

  • Worked on a large-scale 3D generative model with various forms of input conditions.
  • Submited the research results to ICML 2024, accepted as a technical paper.

[Sep 2020 - Jul 2021] Final Year Project @ The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)

  • Developed a new learning-based method to solve a classical instance of the tiling problem.
  • Submited the research results to ACM SIGGRAPH 2020, accepted as a technical paper.

[Feb 2019 - Jul 2019] Data Scientist Intern @ Affable.ai

  • Trained a model for detecting the type of user in Instagram based on joint information available by Computer Vision (pro le pictures) and Natural Language Processing (biographies).
  • Deployed the trained models into various cloud services for a production environment, e.g., AWSSagemaker, Google Cloud AI platform, etc.

[Sep 2017 - Jun 2018] Research Assistant @ The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)

  • Implemented a user interface for a 3D drawing software and developed an algorithm to generate animations for research results.
  • Assisted in finishing a technical paper as 2nd author, accepted in ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2019.

[Jun - Sep 2017] Summer Research Internship @ The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)

  • Performed research on partitioning large 3D objects into interlocking pieces, requiring the maximum number of steps to disassemble using different heuristic search algorithms.
  • CUHK Summer Research Internship 2017 - Best Paper Award (3 out of 35 papers).
